Result of multiple cardiac cycle noise reduction in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) images of embryonic mouse heart. The frames to the left are the raw OCT images of a 9.5 day mouse embryo acquired using a swept-source OCT system at Baylor College Medicine, Texas. The frames to the right were obtained after applying our noise reduction procedure on these raw images. The technique helps reveal structures that were previously obscured due to noise.
